You can drag clips directly into the timeline for editing, and in addition to video, you can also add still images and audio. You can easily import clips into its media panel and arrange them into folders if you have many clips. Being able to quickly browse around your movies makes a big difference when editing and allows you to experiment more easily than if that wasn’t the case. Performance was also good when clicking around our videos. Its navigation works well, and we found that video displayed smoothly and correctly in the preview window. HitFilm’s core features are solid and make the basics easy.
